Stilly River Mechanical, Inc. was established in 2006 by Mike Saylor, a seasoned HVAC professional with a vision for a different kind of company. Dissatisfied with the prevailing ethics he observed in the HVAC industry, Mike sought to create a business that prioritized honesty, integrity, and exceptional customer service.
Driven by a commitment to uphold the values of the local community, Mike and his team at Stilly River Mechanical set out to redefine the standard of service in Stanwood-Camano and beyond. We believe that every customer deserves to be treated with the same care and respect as a neighbor or friend.

Local Scholarships
We partner with the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation to contribute to scholarship funds for local high school seniors, helping to support a brighter future for our area’s brightest youth.
Northwest Glass Quest
We are a proud sponsor of the Northwest Glass Quest, a 10-day community treasure hunt for hand-blown glass balls, in partnership with the local Chamber of Commerce.
Stanwood-Camano Fair
Look for us at the Stanwood-Camano Fair each summer and learn more about our services, get a bottle of water, and say hi to Gem, our restored ‘49 Chevy pickup!
Boy Scouts of America Troop
Our owner, Mike Saylor, is a proud Eagle Scout and Cubmaster for Troop 46 on Camano Island. Stilly River Mechanical is proud to support local kids in learning valuable life skills and the importance of community service.
Soap Box Derby
We sponsor multiple Soap Box cars that compete in the local derby races, in addition to providing trucks and volunteering for race events at Arrowhead Ranch derby track on Camano Island.
FFA Livestock Auction
We are thrilled to support local youth in their efforts to learn about raising, showing, and selling livestock through the Puget Sound Junior Livestock Show and Sale.
Stanwood Camano Parade
Look for Gem in the Utsalady 4th of July Parade each year on Camano Island, as well as in the Stanwood Camano Rotary Parade on the first Saturday of August each year. Make sure to bring your candy bucket!
Chili Chowder Cook-Off
We are a proud sponsor of the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce’s annual Chili-Chowder cookoff (and we recently won 3rd place for the best chili in the 2023 event!)
